EA Forum - Johannesburg
The TOGAF® standard was created 25 years ago and is now considered the de facto methodology and framework to support Enterprise Architecture as a practice. Much has changed since the initial release of the TOGAF® standard as it constantly evolves through the work of the members of The Open Group Architecture Forum.
The latest version of the TOGAF standard has special emphasis on Business Architecture, Digital Trends, and Business Transformation beyond IT.
At this month’s EA Forum, Stuart Macgregor will take us through some of the changes to the TOGAF® 9.2 standard and discuss how they will benefit us.
Stuart Macgregor is the Chief Executive of both Real IRM Solutions and The Open Group South Africa. He served as an officer of the Architecture Forum and created the first franchise model for The Open Group which is now used in many countries all over the world.
Stuart participated in the creation of the TOGAF standard and created a mapping between TOGAF 9 and ISACA’s COBIT 4 standard which was published by both The Open Group and ISACA. He is now an Accredited TOGAF trainer through The Open Group, and holds the The Open Group TOGAF Essentials credential.
