The Open Group South Africa’s EA Forum seminars, taking place on 24, 25 and 27 May, will focus on Transition Architectures that reflect how the enterprise evolves from Baseline to Target Architectures. The speaker, Komborero Makoni, is an Analyst at JD Group tasked with developing an enterprise architecture practice within the organisation.

Komborero says that there is a growing need to document these incremental states of architecture within an organisation so as to identify and manage the scope of work during a period of change. His presentation will include a look at Transition Architectures that are based on the TOGAF®9 framework and principles, and his JD Group-related examples will show the components used when defining Transition Architectures (with a specific look at the application architecture landscape).
