THE OPEN GROUP MEMBERSHIP

Membership of The Open Group is for organisations and not for individuals. An organisation joins The Open Group by joining one or more Forums, Industry Verticals or Managed Consortia of The Open Group.

Fees are based on the revenue of the organisation and whether the organisation is a customer or a supplier to the industry. In addition an organisation may belong to one Forum (Silver membership) or multiple Forums (Gold Membership).

The Open Group’s Managed Consortia and Industry Verticals operate with a higher degree of autonomy than the Forums and carry a different fee structure.
